What I am about
With nearly five decades of precision workshop mastery across multiple engineering fields, I approach violin making through a lens of strict structural acoustics. Guided by the sacred geometry of the Cremonese tradition and refined by rigorous tap-tone data maps, I adapt classical forms to harness the unique, world-class properties of native Australian tonewoods.

My violins come with a unique fine tuner on the E string. The tuner I designed is of aluminium/titanium construction and is the lightest in the world, yet the elevation of the E string remains same as the rest of the strings.

Testimonial
Having trialled dozens of high end violins, Paul Kludsky, the luthier behind Silver Valley violins absolutely blew me away at first trial. Not only is there superb craftsmanship in the overall build and aesthetics of the instruments but the acoustic properties are outstanding - a huge punch of sound suitable for the most demanding soloist; clean, precise articulation on the upper register with a wonderfully rich lower register. These violins really ‘speak’ and I have no doubt that they will be an instrument of choice for the most discerning violinist.
